My assertion is that goals are an important tool for directing our lives. But the goals cannot stand alone.
To achieve a goal, you have to figure out what needs to be done about it. Many times, there will be tasks to be executed. Then you have to build a practical bridge between your task list and your time/calendar.
Are you spending enough time on the tasks related to your goals? Do you have a habit of setting goals? When do you think they are useful and when we are better off without them?
